BillScan AI is an AI-powered tool that analyzes medical bills to identify potential billing errors, duplicate charges, upcoding, and other discrepancies. The Service generates informational reports and draft dispute letters intended to help you communicate with your healthcare provider or insurer.
BillScan AI is an informational tool only. The analyses, reports, and dispute letters generated by the Service do not constitute medical advice, legal advice, or financial advice. We are not physicians, attorneys, or financial advisors. You should consult qualified professionals before making decisions based on any output from the Service. BillScan AI makes no guarantee that identified issues represent actual billing errors or that disputes will be successful.
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
BillScan AI offers a free tier (one complimentary scan) and paid one-time scan credits. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law or at our sole discretion in cases of technical failure on our end.
Scan credits are non-transferable and tied to your account. Credits do not expire.

The BillScan AI name, logo, interface, and underlying software are owned by BillScan AI. The analysis reports generated for you are yours to use. You retain ownership of any bill content you submit.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ACCURACY OF RESULTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BILLSCAN AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated date.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
